@Yokote river is meandering in the center of Yokote City downtown area. I was there at the time of Snow festival, Kamakura in the middle of Februatry.
People make igloo-like snow shelters, Kamakura and prepare an alter of
water God in it to pray for moderate rainfall of coming summer and good
harvest.
