Megane Canal1
There is a canal that takes in water a little downstream of the Kaneyama
weir. It is the Megane Canal. The stream runs along the road or passes
by fields and enters the town. TThe photo shows the flow from the other
side.

Megane Canal2
It flows along a promenade-like path for about 70 meters. The photo shows
the stream going over there.
Megane means eyeglasses. At the intake point of the Megane canal, water
is taken in two series of circular concrete pipes, hence the name Megane
canal.
